Manfrotto’s Bag Launch at Pikto Studio

On Wednesday night I attended the Manfrotto bag launch party at the Pikto Studio in downtown Toronto's distillery district. As one of the first 50 to arrive, I even received a free gift from the organizers. Drinks were plenty, and food was delicious, but the real guests of honour were the bags themselves.

For as long as I've been a photographer, I've known Manfrotto to make great - and affordable - products that are able to stand up to most reasonable abuse. The 055 XProB tripod that I picked up a couple of years ago is no exception. When I received the invite to preview a new consumer bag line from Manfrotto, I was quite excited for sure. Luckily, Manfrotto had a model showing off some of the new products. I even got to use the giant parabolic umbrella that they had on hand to light the scene...
